23 years ago, YES TWENTY 3 .....
Denise Ward and Dana Vaughn (sisters) started Claire Lynn.
How did we get the name? CLAIRE Denise and Dana LYNN.
We started the business wholesale only out of the Dallas apparel mart,
and quickly grew to the Atlanta and New York marts. For 15 years we
designed, manufactured, cooked dinner, changed diapers, carpooled to
and from school, fixed hair, sat kids in time out, spanked a couple,
planned birthday parties, went on field trips, sat at soccer, basketball,
volleyball, and football games, bought cars, paid tickets, grounded a few
times, attended teacher conferences and honor society programs, senior
pranks, homecoming pictures, high school graduations, loved our husbands,
and still remained sisters and best friends.

7 years ago.........Dana Vaughn decided to go back to her gift....
teaching school. She is the best teacher i know and loves every child
she teaches! The children in her 1st grade class are very blessed!!!

Denise Ward (ME!!).... i decided to change the direction of the
business from wholesale to retail (and only a limited amount of wholesale).
We are more of a personalized business with a twist of spirit! We love
to work with teachers, designing team and staff shirts for building
school spirit!! I love designing and working with the best staff,
and we have a lot of fun at work! My husband (Doug) helps a
lot with the business and is the best husband in the world!
Both my kids are now grown, married, and starting families
of their own. Yep, I’m gonna be a grandmother!!

Our product is one of a kind, and we hope to keep it that way!!
